The host countries for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup are West Indies and the USA. This prestigious event is being hosted by the Caribbean Islands for the third time.
A premier ICC event will be held in the USA for the first time. Earlier West Indies alone hosted the ICC ODI World Cup in 2007 and the T20 World Cup in 2010. Now Disney+ Hotstar is the official broadcast partner of the esteemed tournament.

For cricket fans, this is great news that Hotstar will cover the T20 World Cup for free on the mobile app. After having huge success in two previous matches, Hotstar has taken this conclusion. They will broadcast Asia Cup 2023 and ICC World Cup 2023 live, without any subscription fees.
However, users will have to pay subscription fees, if they want to stream on TV and laptops to watch ICC T20 World Cup 2024. A merger has been announced by the Walt Disney Company and Reliance Industries.
They have decided to merge their media operation in India. The total amount of this merger stands above Rs. 70,000 crore. A significant portion of the deal will be taken by Reliance and its affiliates.
The ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled for June 2024. The World Cup opener at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas will see the United States of America take on Canada.
On 5 June, India will play their first match against Ireland at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York. On 9 June, India will face Pakistan in a highly anticipated match. The number of teams has been increased by the International Cricket Council for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
It is the first time that 20 teams will take part in an ICC tournament. Four groups will be formed, and each group will have five teams. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super 8s round.
The Super 8 round will also be played in two different groups. In Barbados, the final will be held on 29 June.
